To ensure our HOA is financially able to provide current services into the future, we have contracted an organization to assist us with a “Reserve Study.” A Reserve Study is a long-term budget process tool that helps us assess/analyze the health of an association’s physical property — and helps us plan for future repair/replacement costs for our current amenities. Long story short, we do this to prepare in advance for costs we KNOW will arise – with the hopes of avoiding a steep dues increase or assessment in the future. Think of this as you personally having savings ready for when your furnace/air conditioning fails, car dies, pipes back up, etc., on a larger scale.

As part of the process, we’d like to hear suggestions for amenities or services homeowners might like to see us add/enhance in the future. Our goal would be to come back to neighbors next year with estimated costs/dues impact for services desired. From there, we’d decide on next steps together!
